Skills Log is the LinkedIn for the Facebook generation. For many people ‘what you know’ is more important than ‘who you know’ and Skills Log addresses this by allowing users to list their skills, rate their proficiency and qualify their skills by listing their education and experience. In addition a user can maintain a network of contacts based on skill rather than relationships, allowing them to search the skills and skill levels of their contacts.
A user’s Skills Log serves as an interactive online CV / résumé, a tool to aid professional development, and a facility to maintain contacts based on their skills.
